Singapore, Served AgaiN

HERITAGE, HARVESTED: A farm-to-table celebration of Singapore’s forgotten flavours.

AVAILABLE FROM 1-31 AUGUST 2026

As part of 1-Group’s “Singapore, Served Again” campaign, we celebrate National Day by reviving the “lost” ingredients of our past through a lens of modern culinary craft.
Our spotlight is on Ambarella (kedondong), a tart tropical fruit once commonly found in Singapore’s kampungs and backyard gardens, but now rarely seen on contemporary dining tables. Paired with wood-fired Wagyu picanha, its bright, tangy character is reimagined in a modern yakiniku-style sauce, bringing new life to a nostalgic flavour while honouring the ingredients that shaped Singapore’s culinary heritage.

From ginger flower and winged beans to banana blossom and ambarella, rediscover heritage ingredients harvested from The Summerhouse Garden Beds and thoughtfully reimagined through Botanico’s contemporary garden-inspired cuisine.
